Welcome!

I'm Adriel Colon and I have been playing MTG since Zendikar Block. My favorite format is limited with constructed as a close second. My favorite kind of decks make use of-off-axis cards like Warp world or Havoc Festival. Currently in rural Tennessee I am an FNM grinder with a Rakdos Aggro deck for the last few weeks that has made it worth my time in prize support.

Version notes and updates:
Version 1

Notes on Play:
This deck was built for speed. Every creature is selected to be P/T efficient for the mana cost and every spell is removal except for Madcap skills which is for suiting up at the earliest opportunity. Be risky with Madcap Skills when casting it as landing it is well worth the risk of the cheap creature or card advantage and drawing out removal from your opponent is invaluable as it slows them down while you cast more dudes. Bestow creatures are fantastic as they combo well with the tormented heroes and proved for mid game profitable attacks with otherwise outclassed 1 drops. The mana confluences usually only do 2 damage at most to you but are critical to deck success. I happily keep a 1 land and 1 mana confluence opener.

Notes on Sideboard:
Usually when I sideboard I am taking out the lighting strikes. The removal often times allows for more than the 3 burn damage and with the prevalence of high toughness creatures it is less relevant. When you do sideboard you are looking for the best kind of removal for the opposing deck. Again, the goal of every non creature spell in the deck is to get enemy creatures out of the way. So each sideboard card is for a specific matchup less so than the typical "control", "midrange", "aggro" decks etc.

-Feast of Dreams is hard removal for Coursers of Kruphix and Nyx Fleece Ram. Their high toughness and life gain are killer against our deck and these are to supplement as pseudo doom blades against them.

-Ulcerate is for Master of Waves,Centaurs,Boros Reckoners and the like. Our life total is less important and having the ability to remove the Master of Waves and his tokens is critical in beating the mono-blue deck along with Frostburn weirds and Indestructible creatures you can't beat in combat. A really great card addition to the deck from M15

-Dark Betrayal is for the mono Black decks. mostly this kills desecration demons but does excellent against Gray Merchant because his 4 toughness is as bad as his enters the battlefield abilities.

-Armory of Iroas This one is for Sylvan Caryatid and other green decks. all of our creatures except the spiteful eidolons has 2 power so the turn they are equipped they get the +1/+1 counter immediately and can be a great way for the 1 and 2 drops to be relevant in the late game.

Results:
I have been really happy with deck performance. I am 5/7 with this deck this weekend in Tournaments since M15 dropped. Often times your games will play out with you playing 2 guys, 1 gets chumped and you either lay the smack down or get clogged up. Tormented Hero Turn 1 with Turn 2 Madcap hits your opponent for 6 Turn 2 almost every time. I would say this deck is a medium competitiveness, but if your opponent can hold you back for 2 turns you may be in too deep a hole to come back from. The relative cheapness of the deck makes this easy to build and and you can substitute the mana confluences for Blood Crypts in a pinch to make it cheaper.

Have fun with this and I hope to see it out there somewhere played against me!
